Module 1	Module 2
First Aid The First Aid module will ensure you have up to date first aid knowledge; this is vital for anyone engaged in this type of work who may need to assist animals in an emergency situation.	Dog and Cat Care This module covers the basic care and welfare of cats and dogs incl. signs of ill health, nutriton, vaccinations, with an emphasis on how to provide emotional, mental and physical stimulation and environmental enrichment.
Module 3	Module 4
Small Animals This module covers the basic care and welfare of small animals incl. signs of ill health, nutrition, vaccinations, with an emphasis on how to provide emotional, mental and physical stimulation and environmental enrichment.	House Security and the Law This concerns the legal side of being in someone else’s property whilst caring for their pets. It includes some emergency procedures and security of the home.
Module 5	Module 6
Professional Dog Walking Covers all aspects of walking dogs, including equipment, Law, handling and restraint, canine aggression.	Running your Business This is currently optional to course achievement and it covers a number of vital factors that are involved in being a self-employed Pet Sitter & Dog Walker. You will have an overview of maintaining records for income purposes, registering with the Tax people and general aspects of being your own ‘boss’ in the formal sense.
