About the Centre
Many of the dogs who come to the refuge have sustained injuries by
their owners and many are suffering traumas and many are simply
abandoned at the refuge.
The rescue currently has over 60 dogs in care at any time, but the
numbers can change on a daily basis.
A registered Spanish Charity this dog rescue centre requires dedicated
people to assist in all aspects of the day to day running of the refuge
and care of the dogs. Longer term volunteers will be given priority.
There is accomodation included at the refuge, but you will be required to buy your
own food.
Volunteers will gain valuable work experience and learn how to handle
and care for all types of dogs in a rescue environment.
Voluntary workers will be involved in all aspects of caring for the
dogs. Walking, feeding, environmental enrichment nursing sick dogs and
generally improving their quality of life while staying at the rescue
centre.
