How
do the courses work?
You will receive one module at a time. In the notes there are questions
to answer that will require some research (the answers are not in the

to your tutor for marking. This is then returned with a grade and
report with constructive comments along with your next module.
What
if I do not understand
something?
Upon enrolment, you are assigned a personal tutor to help you with your
work and any questions you might have. The tutors' job is not only to
mark your work but also to provide academic support and guidance if
required. You can contact your dedicated personal tutor by phone or
email. They are all experts in their field, most have a related degree
and many have teaching qualifications in addition to having practical
experience in their chosen subject. We are committed to good practice
and delivering quality tuition through the medium of correspondence.
What
happens when I finish
the course?
On successful completion of all modules you will receive a
diploma/certificate. The tutor will also be happy to supply you with a
reference for employers, colleges or universities.
Can

are offered in the form of a loan and you would be paying interest on
this loan. The loans are only available for any course or number of
courses where the total value exceeds 500 GBP.
Can I study
from anywhere in
the world?
Yes, our courses are accessible to students
worldwide; these courses have been undertaken by students from over 37
countries outside the UK. The courses have been conducted in some
surprising environments; including secure hospitals and prisons to the
depths of the African jungle and the Himalayan mountains to the beaches
of the Middle East. Students are able to get the same swift tutor
support whether they are in the UK, Bolivia or anywhere else in the
world.
Are
there any entry
requirements for your courses?

Testimonials
I started my course
in November 2008 and completed it June 2009. I found the support second
to none and would highly recomend this course to anyone interested in
Dog grooming. I am now self employed grooming from home and love the
fact I can still e mail the tutor anytime if I have a problem and she always
replies quickly with an answer. Completing this course is the best career move I have made. Jean Symon
So long as you're willing to put the study
time in, work really hard and take everything on board, then this
course is perfect for an alternative to expensive full time education.
Hugely rewarding and exceptionally informative, this course is perfect
for those wanting a career in dog grooming without taking the plunge of
quitting your job in order to learn. Amanda Matheou
Fantastic
course. Really enjoyable with great support. The website is
really good with lots of downloads and the private members forum is
great for making friends and getting advice. Jacqueline Parsons
Excellent course,
help from Tutor almost immediately. Fantastically set out.
Thoroughly enjoyed doing this course. Pauline Foggo
Have found the
course very in depth and highly detailed. It is easy to follow and I
love the online pre test questionairs as this gives you a break from
all the studying. There is so much help online and I think it is the
best investment for anyone wanting support in their career during and
after the course. Could not get a better distance learning course. Kate Byson
I've read a lot of
forums recently that have advised against distance learning as grooming
is all about the practical. I've also noticed that most of the writers
also add that during their practical courses they didn't really get any
hands on experience and are terrified of their first grooms. It is also
clear that they have learnt nothing of the theory. They don't know
about blade sizes, the different blade types, do you dry from the front
or rear and many more questions. I'm pleased to say that with this course I
have learnt the theory and my practice can only get better and better.
A fully rounded learning experience I would say. Sheila Pye
The course is great,
so easy to follow and the feedback you receive is positive,
constructive and reassuring. Emma Dalwood
The training was
very enjoyable and I learnt alot. I have three dogs they each looked
forward to their grooming sessions where they were practiced on. The
looks on their faces tell me that I've improved since I completed the
course. I would like to thank you for all your support and
encouragement. Thank You! Karen Marie Ducker
This course offers an indepth insight into
grooming animals. The information in the training modules has helped me
embark on a new chapter in my life and I have learnt so much in a short
space of time. The information is comprehensive and complete in theory
- it is up to the student to practice the practical and personnel
skills needed for a successful business. The private message
board is an invaluable business tool, offering answers to the questions
that you'd like to ask. This has been the best investment i've made to
date. Thank you. Elizabeth Spanner
What can I
say except thank you. I never thought I would ever fulfill my Dream
Career, but I have. And I would recommend anyone wanting to do grooming
to take this Diploma. It's given me a lot of knowledge and confidence
in my grooming. Now I am qualified, I have found more confidence than I
ever thought possible. I can't thank you enough, so what's
everybody waiting for -- go for it!! It's money well spent, and to
think I am now my own boss! Lesley Wilkinson
