Career as an animal nursing assistant
Animal Nursing Assistant: This career involves nursing sick or recovering animals, as well as promoting their health and welfare. The role can include the following hands-on tasks: feeding, cleaning, handling and general care of animals pre and post operatively, assisting with the day to day running of the practice i.e. reception duties, dealing with clients, assisting in the consulting rooms and preparation of animals and treatment areas.
