Mill House Animal Sanctuary has facilities located around Sheffield, South Yorkshire - with native ponies and horses kept at locations in Fulwood, Thurlstone, Worksop and around the Mayfield and Rivelin Valleys. The Sanctuary is committed to providing a caring and loving environment for all animals, with over 280 horses & ponies who are in need due to old age, sickness, maltreatment, or neglect. The Raystede Centre was founded in 1952 to prevent and relieve cruelty to animals and to protect them from unnecessary suffering. Around 1500 unwanted and abandoned animals arrive at the centre annually. Horses and donkeys are cared for along with a variety of other animals. Job vacancies are advertised as they arise.
