Refund and Privacy Policies

1. Refund Policy

a) Online Courses:

You may cancel your order up to 14 days after purchase.

You will be required to make such a request in writing to Animal Jobs Direct, and at your cost, return any received materials in a satisfactory and reasonable condition.  

We retain the right to charge a fee for bank charges related to payments received and these will be deducted from any refund awarded. The right is also reserved to levy an administration charge in all cases.

b) Practical Courses/Placements:

While we make every effort to run courses as advertised, we reserve the right to change the content, timing, dates or venue of our courses.  We reserve the right to cancel a course up to the date of the course if insufficient bookings have been received. We will strive to give as much notice as possible in such an event. In all cases, students who had registered to attend a cancelled course will be given the option of a full refund or of rescheduling to a future course date but Animal Jobs Direct Ltd disclaims any further liability.

If you are unable to attend the practical course you are booked on, you may substitute, by prior arrangement and after notifying us, someone else from your organisation. Such a transfer will be on condition that we are informed in writing of your intentions at least 1 week prior to the originally booked event. Bookings can only be transferred once.

If you are unable to attend, and not in a position to transfer your place to another person, then full charges will apply. Please note that full payment is required for non-attendance on a booking that has been transferred.

No refund will be payable for non-attendance.

2. Privacy Policy

We at Animal Jobs Direct are totally committed to protecting your privacy. We comply with the principles of the Data Protection Act, the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations and the SafeBuy Code of Practice.

We collect information about you in order to process your order and to tailor your visit to our website to be as relevant to you as possible. That information will only be shared with other parties that are involved in the fulfilment of your order. We do not send random marketing emails to personal email addresses (spam).

The information we hold may include:

  • Your name
  • Address
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Credit/debit card details
  • Other information necessary for processing your order

This data will be held in accordance with our internal security policy. If we propose to send your data outside the European Economic Area (EEA) we will seek your consent first.

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your agreement. You have a right to ask for a copy of the information which we are holding on you and we will provide this for a small fee. We will delete information or correct any inaccuracies at no charge as soon as you make the request.

We do not use cookies on our website. Data will only be released to third parties (e.g. the police) on request where there is a legal requirement for us to do so.
