A rare opportunity has arisen within Canine Partners for a vacancy as a Dog Trainer, which will enable the successful candidate to become part of a dynamic team at the cutting edge of the Assistance Dog world.

We would welcome applications from those with commitment to excellence and an ability to demonstrate a passion for their work. Ideally they will have experience of training dogs using positive reward based methods; and will have empathy for a wide range of people, including those with a disability. Boundless enthusiasm, a positive attitude, flexibility and initiative are essential.

Availability to do some occasional overnight duties and weekend work is required, as is the ability to keep clear records. A Full Driving Licence is also essential.

Salary scale: from £14,000 per annum depending on skills and experience
