The Last Great Ape organisation Cameroon (LAGA) aims to create an effective deterrent
factor for wildlife crimes in Cameroon. They work with government to deter dealers in meat and products of endangered species and to educate the public about gives the severity of the bushmeat trade. LAGA is looking for hard working volunteers who have experience of working/living in Africa and are willing to do animal jobs.

The Duke Lemur Centre (DLC), Madagascar promotes research and understanding of prosimians and their natural habitat as a means of advancing the frontiers of knowledge, to contribute to the educational development of future leaders in international scholarship and conservation and to enhance the human condition by stimulating intellectual growth and sustaining global biodiversity. They require volunteers to assist with day to day operations.

Cheetah Conservation Botswana Botswana has one of the last free-ranging populations of cheetah in the world. Sadly, cheetahs are now Africa's most endangered large cat - despite being listed as a species threatened with extinction by the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES). Cheetah Conservation Botswana has been set up as a long term monitoring project, incorporating practical conservation, scientific research and community participation. Volunteers are required to assist with research work.

The South African Foundation for the Conservation of Coastal Birds (SANCCOB) is a non-profit sea bird rehabilitation centre based in Cape Town, South Africa. SANCCOB aims to conserve and protect South Africa's sea birds, especially threatened species. The organisation rehabilitates ill, injured, oiled and orphaned sea birds on a daily basis, prepares for and manages the rehabilitation of sea birds during a major oil spill, raises awareness about conservation through environmental education and collaborates on research projects SANCCOB has treated more than 83 000 sea birds throughout the last 37 years and cannot achieve it’s objectives without the assistance of volunteers to assist with animal jobs.

Project African Wilderness (PAW) is an organisation formed to protect and restore the Mwabvi Wildlife Reserve in Southern Malawi. Its aim is to work with local people and the Government of Malawi and integrate social, economic and environmental solutions to create a sustainable future for the reserve and improve local community livelihoods. PAW is not only a conservation project – money raised is put into the development of projects (and infrastructure) that will benefit the local people of Mwabvi and allow them to take control of their own livelihoods through businesses and education relating to eco-tourism. Volunteers can assist in their UK office as well as with hands on work in Malawi.
