Namib Desert Environmental Education Trust (NaDEET) is a non-profit organisation
aimed to empower Namibians to make decisions for a sustainable future. They aim to provide a non-profit environmental education service for the learners and educators of Namibia based in the beauty and magic of the Namib Desert, to build capacity and know-how at all levels of the environmental education sector and to engage in education, advocacy and awareness of the critical role of sustainable living in a desert environment. The organisation invites school, youth and educator groups to participate in a unique hands-on, experiential environmental learning programme and offer internships.

Daktari Wildlife Orphanage is a charity based in Hoedspruid, South Africa. Daktari aims to give people with disabilities, the opportunity to experience the care of orphaned animals. The goal of the organisation is to improve the quality of life of people and orphaned animals. Volunteers are required to assist with animal care, marketing, education and other practical animal jobs.

The Tandroy Conservation Trust works in Madagascar in the areas of conservation education, sustainable development and applied research. They are reliant on volunteers to assist their work.

The Gallmann Africa Conservancy Foundation, Kenya was established with the specific purpose of creating an environment where development and conservation work together, complimenting each other harmoniously, the Foundation aims to prove that Africa can survive through ecological, educational, creative and sustainable use of its natural resources. The Foundation's programs are primarily dedicated and its international outreach focused on wildlife protection, the environmental education of youth, community service and the preservation of traditional skills. African Conservation Trust Works to conduct environmental, cultural and heritage conservation projects as well as provide a means for these projects to become self funding through active participation by the public. This gives ordinary people a chance to make a positive and real contribution to environmental, cultural and heritage conservation by funding and participating as volunteers. The Centre for Animal Rehabilitation and Education - C.A.R.E. is a wildlife rehabilitation facility in South Africa dedicated to the care, welfare, rehabilitation and protection of injured and orphaned indigenous wild animals. The centre specialises in the care of chacma baboons, actively pursuing their rescue, rehabilitation and release. CARE accepts a limited number of volunteers to assist in the daily running of the centre, and in the rehabilitation programme. CARE favours individuals with experience in dealing directly with animals or those who have previously held animal jobs.
