projects abroad logoConservation and Environment in Costa Rica, Mexico and Peru: from rescuing and releases endangered turtles in Mexico to monitoring species and working on a release programme in the Amazon rainforest in Peru.
Animal Care in Mexico: Volunteers can participate in our Animal Care project in Mexico, working in a wildlife rescue centre for abandoned or neglected animals.
Equine Therapy in Argentina:  You will help look after the horses - feeding, cleaning, brushing and you will actively participate in the classes, helping the children and adults learn to ride, taking lessons and competing in tournaments.



Antigua and Barbuda: Humane Society works to improve the welfare of animals through humane education and the prevention of cruelty, and to offer shelter and humane care to all animals in need of protection in the State of Antigua and Barbuda. Contact to assist their work as a volunteer.

Argentina: The Argentine Foundation for Animal Welfare (FABA) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to providing health care and promoting education in order to improve the quality of life of animals. The organisation teaches respect for all living beings. Contact to assist as a volunteer.

Belize: Saga Humane Society their mission is: "preventing cruelty and promoting kindness to all animals". This is achieved first and foremost through the humane education program that Saga is working to implement within the community of San Pedro. Contact to assist as a volunteer.

Bermuda: Bermuda SPCA has a mission to provide effective, lawful means for the prevention of cruelty to animals. To promote the education of the general public on the care and well being of all animals and to encourage and promote kindness to animals. They require voluntary help with walking dogs, socialising cats, fundraising and more. They offer orientation sessions for volunteers - see website for further information.

Jamaica: Jamaica SPCA has been working in Jamaica for over one hundred years, to protect animals from cruelty, neglect, injury and abandonment, and to defend and promote animal rights. They encourage volunteers to assist them and have a volunteer application form on their site.

Mexico: Animal Protection Association of Cuernavaca (APAC) offers food, medical attention, shelter, vaccinations and neutering. They also work with the local authorities to control rabies. They have 150 dogs and 75 cats in their shelter, contact to assist as a volunteer.
