Animal Jobs Canada:

Animal Justice Canada (http://www.animaljustice.ca/): works to improve public awareness of animal practices and to prevent the abuse & killing of animals through the enforcement of existing laws.

Animal Rescue Foundation is based in Alberta and assists dogs and cats requiring adoption and neutering.

Calgary Humane Society is a dynamic, non-profit organisation with a history of leadership and setting standards of excellence for the humane treatment of animals over a broad spectrum of human/animal interaction.

Canadian Animal Assistance Team is a group of registered veterinary people who are passionate about animal care and welfare and provide assistance to animals in need worldwide.

Canadian Disaster Animal Response Team is dedicated to animal welfare through the preparing for the rescue of companion animals in emergencies and disasters.

Cochrane Humane Society (http://www.cochranehumane.ca/) is a charitable organisation dedicated to promoting and preserving the well-being of animals, sustained by volunteers and the community.

New Hope Dog Rescue provides medical care and rehoming for dogs in need. Since the organization was founded, New Hope has found loving homes for over 1500 dogs

Ontario SPCA Through its province-wide network of 25 Ontario SPCA Branches and 31 affiliated member Humane Societies, the Ontario SPCA is one of the largest, most responsive animal welfare organisations in the country, providing care and shelter for tens of thousands of animals every year. They employ a wide variety of staff and vacancies are continually advertised.

Ottawa Humane Society (http://www.ottawahumane.ca/): is a not-for-profit organisation that has provided shelter and medical care for thousands of animals since 1888.

Seeing Eye, Toronto is the oldest dog guide school in the world. Twelve times a year, as many as 24 students at a time discover the exhilarating experience of travelling with a Seeing Eye dog. The Seeing Eye employs about 180 people at its Morristown campus. Jobs range from kennel workers to veterinarian technicians, and clerical staff to database specialists.

Tiny Paws Dog Rescue works to assist dogs in need of rescue and re-homing. They also provide veterinary care as necessary.

Veterinarians Without Borders (VWB) All of their programs are grounded in the philosophy that the health of animals, people, and the ecosystems we share cannot be treated as separate problems.

Toronto Humane Society provides protection and care for all animals and aims to prevent suffering and cruelty.
